Athletes planning to compete at the NCAA level must:

• Register with the NCAA Eligibility Center

• Meet GPA and core course requirements

• Maintain amateur status

We encourage families to review eligibility standards early.

Successful recruiting requires initiative.

Athletes are responsible for:

• Communicating with coaches

• Sending film updates

• Following up professionally

• Maintaining grades

Parents are responsible for:

• Supporting communication (not leading it)

• Managing travel logistics

• Keeping perspective on fit and finances

Does Gym Rats guarantee scholarships?
No. Recruiting is a partnership between athlete, family, and club. We provide guidance and exposure — effort and communication must come from the athlete.

When should my athlete start?
Education starts early. Active recruiting typically increases during sophomore and junior years.

Is Division I the only goal?
Absolutely not. The right academic, athletic, and financial fit is more important than division label.
